Increases the state standard for renewable energy to 50% by 2030, the first increase in a decade
Invests $1.5 billion in clean energy projects across Nevada
SB 358 creates and supports over 11,000 new jobs
Advanced Energy industries now employ over 32,000 workers in Nevada’s urban and rural communities
Renewable standards outlined in the bill are supported by 59% of Nevada voters

Senators Chris Brooks and Yvanna Cancela pushed SB 358 through the Senate Growth and Infrastructure Committee.
Speaker Jason Frierson and Chairwoman Daniele Monroe-Moreno built upon this momentum and passed the bill through the Assembly.
